Environmental Responsibilty

 

It is the policy of City Hygiene Limited to ensure its operations are conducted to reduce the impact on the surroundings.

We analyse every process from linen resource to customer delivery to find ways of being energy efficient and minimise water usage.

Heat exchangers are used to redirect the energy from out waste water to warm up our cold water feeds. Our exhaust steam is also extracted to provide additional heat in our ironers.

The chemicals we use are sourced to allow the lowest possible temperature washes whilst being eco friendly upon diluted discharge.

Our waste plastic is collected from our site on a regular basis by a local recycling company. Our fleet is being updated to include more efficient fuel and emission technology.

We are aware of our duty to protect the environment and are therefore constantly looking at new machinery and innovative processes to improve the way we work to ensure our Environmental Policy and Procedures are being delivered.
